What
We Do:
We
send an email newsletter weekly. There are additional bulletins
when market conditions warrant.
The
Process:
-
We select individual stocks for the intermediate to long
term and notify our subscribers when to buy, sell, or sell short.
-
Our
recommendations are based on the movement of stock prices therefore
the length of time that a recommendation remains current is
variable. We employ stops to avoid deep losses and we cash out
positions that no longer follow the predominant trend. Although
we can and do sell short, we seldom do so when overall market
conditions are bullish.
-
We
advise our subscribers when conditions in the general market
and market sectors are favorable, unfavorable or mixed.
Sometimes we recommend trades in stock index futures when conditions
are particularly favorable. As a general rule, we prefer to
trade the stock and not the averages because within any average
some issues are rising while others are falling. Why buy the
Dow Jones Index when IBM is going up but Disney is going down?
Just buy IBM!
-
We inform our subscribers of significant developments in
such areas as precious metals, interest rates and currencies.
When
interest rates were clearly rising in 1987, there was a high
risk of owning any stocks. (Remember 1987, we want to avoid
a repeat of those steep losses in your portfolio. You never
know how far a bear market will go or how long it will last.)
Here at StocksCom, we are often being asked to recommend brokers
for stocks and futures. As a service to our subscribers, we
have decided to name two that we have known for many years and
have provided unparalleled service to their clients.

| This
book describes a proven approach to amassing futures-style
profits in the stock market by using futures trading techniques.
The author has developed an advanced decision-making process
for eliminating most of the guesswork, and letting the markets
tell you when to buy or sell a stock. Using stocks such as
IBM, Citicorp, and Sears, stock traders will discover how
chart-based indicators such as moving averages and stochastics
also work for stocks.
Reviews:
A
good and practical book on Technical Analysis, January 29,
2000
"As good a book as you will read
on Technical Analysis as it relates to the Stock Market. Very
well written and edited with lots of charts demonstrating
real case histories of the strategies employed. All the material
was practically presented in a clear and logical manner. In
short it was a an easy read which is good because you will
want to return to it often to review key points of interest.
Stresses the importance of looking at the markets from first
the long term (months) to the intermediate term (weeks) and
finally to time your trades using the short term (days). Well
done and thanks."

A
Great Book for the Stock Market System Builder, August 8,
1999
"Many of the technical analysis
books only show you the patterns, they don't go deep enough
into what you should do when you see those patterns. This
book tells you what you should do and gives you case studies.
If you want to build a system for trading stocks, this book
should be in your library."
